  • Potato 3
  • Onions 1(small)
  • Green Chilies 3
  • Curry leaves 4 or 5
  • Mustard
  • Cumin seed (Jeera )
  • Channa dhal for seasoning
  • Ginger-small piece
  • Milk-1 ounce
Methods/steps
  1. Peel the potato and cut into cubes.
  2. Pour oil in the bowl and season it with mustard, cumin seed (jeera), channa dhal and curry leaves.
  3. Put the green chilies, ginger and the cut onions and fry it for 1 minute.
  4. Next add the potato cubes, turmeric powder and salt and fry it.
  5. Cover and cook it with little water and milk.
  6. Finally, mash the potatoes and serve it hot for poori.
