Misti Doi….I hope I do not need to introduce to the readers!!! One of the most popular dishes; can be served with Muri, Chira, also with rice and can be served only itself!

- Milk 1 liters
- sugar 100 gms
- Yogurt (Doi) 25 gms
- Small container of 1.5 kg. capacity Or Casserole
Methods/steps
- Put the milk to boil on Medium heat.
- Once it is boiled simmer the gas and beat occasionally.
- See that the milk is reduced to almost 50% and becomes thick and light brown in color.
- Add sugar and mix it properly.
- Take it off the flame and cool it till the mixture becomes Luke warm.
- Transfer the mixture into the Pot / Casserole.
- Mix the Yogurt into the mixture.
- Cover and allow setting for 8 to 12 hours at a warm place, do not open or move the pot during this period.
- Uncover and Store in a refrigerator.
- Serve it
